Are you feeling lucky?

Jonnie’s Bodega, the most unheard of neighbourhood corner store (in their own words), have recently just collaborated with renowned Malaysian skateboarding brand Thieves Skateboards to launch some fresh new garments!

The collaboration, named the “Lucky Charms Collection”, is made up of three pieces. A t-shirt (RM 149), a jersey (RM 189), and a pair of pants (RM 349). At the time of writing both the tee and jersey have already sold out, reflecting the large public interest towards this collaboration. This is not the first time these two brands have joined forces, with their previous collaboration happening a year prior to this.

The launch event was held at the Jonnie’s Bodega store in Gasket Alley, with a sizeable crowd turning up to celebrate the release. The highlight of the event, asides from the clothes, was a lucky coin toss challenge where participants took turns trying to drop a coin into a tank full of water with the intention of having the coin land in a cup placed at the bottom. The prize for this challenge? A pair of Marshall Major V Headphones each for several winners.

With the repeated success of their collaborations, surely this would not be the last time Thieves Skateboards and Jonnie’s Bodega would join hands. Any future works by the two brands will be highly anticipated!
